Home made tomato sauce, powder soup, macaroni, dried vegetables are the subjects of this camp. Are you interested in how are they made? Local Turkish people will teach the preparation of these home-made tastefull staff to anyone interested in learning. You can learn how to make them, taste them at meals, take some with you to try at home and teach to your friends. The daily occupation will be 2-3 hours and you will have a chance to join the other group activities in the center or enjoy your free time individually at the Afacan Youth House www.afacan.de. If you want, you can also volunteer for the kids sharing the complex during your stay.

W: Learning how to make home made tomato sauce, powder soup, macaroni, dried vegetables.

A: In Afacan Youth House, in double rooms with toilet and shower. Sleeping bag and mat are not necessary.

F: Will be supplied at the center.

LA: English.

LO: The camp site is in the west of Turkey by the Aegean Sea coast.

T: Izmir. Please arrange your travel to Izmir Airport. Further arrival details will be on the info sheet.

Extra fee: 230 Euro to cover the cost of accommodation, food and the ingredients. The fund raised from the extra fees and marketing the products made in this camp, is used for supporting the disadvantaged children and youth camps in Afacan Youth House.

***** GEN-21 ve GEN-23 art arda yaptığımız Salça ve Tarhana Kampları idi. Belgüzar Üzümcü’nün liderliğini yaptığı ilk kampa 6 kişi, Tülin Başaran’ın liderliğini yaptığı ikinci kampa da 8 kişi katıldı. Bu kamplarda toplam 90 kg. tarhana ve 20 kg. salça üretildi. Bir kısmı Afacan Gençlik Evi’nde kullanılacak olan bu ürünlerin büyük bir kısmı satılarak, elde edilen gelirle olanakları kısıtlı çocuk ve gençlere Afacan’da ücretsiz kamp yapma olanağı sağlanıyor.
