GEN-14’e son anda yurt dışı kampçılarımızdan Kaan Girgin’i kamp lideri olarak ayarlayabildik. 3 Türk, 8 yabancı gönüllünün katıldığı kampta gönüllüler ilçe merkezinde çevre düzenleme çalışmalarına katıldılar. Ziyaretim sırasında yerel bir TV kanalı da çekim yaptı. Gerek yerel yöneticiler gerekse bizim gönüllülerin hoşnut kaldığı güzel bir kamp oldu.

Kampa 1'er Hırvat, İspanyol ve Alman, 2 Fransız, 3'er Türk ve Koreli , 9 kadın, 2 Erkek, toplam 11 gönüllü katıldı.

GEN- 14 AWARENESS CIFTLIK-NIGDE 15.7 – 30.07 MANU 12 VOLS Ciftlik is a small town in the middle of Anatolia and about 40 km. from the world famous Cappadocia Walley. The local governor and the mayor are keen of introducing the local culture to the volunteers who will come from different countries. By this work camp they aim to create a public awareness about the environment. W: There will be different type of manual work daily like hoeing the ground around the trees in the town boullevard, painting the pavement stones, collecting garbage and waste material from the streets, painting the outer walls of a school garden. A: In Teachers’ Guest House of the town, sleeping bag and mat are not necessary. F: Volunteers will use the kitchen of the guest house to prepare their meals by the supplied food. LA: English. LO: Ciftlik is a small town with 6.000 inhabitants in central Anatolia. The nearest city is Nigde. T: Istanbul. The project will start in Istanbul with a compulsory orientation meeting that all volunteers should attend on the first day of the camp. The group will travel together to the camp site by an overnight coach on the same evening. Pre Camp Days: GENCTUR also offers an optional 2 days sight seeing tour in Istanbul before this camp. Volunteers may participate in this tour with an extra cost of 45 Euro for 3 nights bed & breakfast accommodation. The program is organized according to the wishes of the participants.
