Kayıt olanların teker teker iptal etmesi sonucu yabancı katılımcı olarak yalnızca 1 Fransız'ın geldiği bu kampta , 14-17 yaş grubunda 1 Fransız + 20 Türk (11 Kadın + 10 Erkek) katılımcı Kosova ve Meksika'dan gelen 2 yabancı gönüllü ve 9 Türk eğitmen ile birlikte kısa film çalışmaları yaptılar.

KAMP TANIMI :

GEN-11 SHORT FILM-DRAMA YENISAKRAN-IZMIR 15.07- 23.07 TEEN/ART 20 VOLS

This is an international thematic camp for the age group 14 - 16. Teenagers from different countries will create a “group film” in Afacan Youth House (www.afacan.de). Majority of the group will be Turkish teens. But the camp language is English. The participants will use their creativity & express their ideas to write their scenario, act, shoot and direct their ownfilms in this camp. Besides filming, different activities like sports, arts & crafts, creative drama, music, etc. will be in the daily program of the camp. Turkish & international volunteers will be leading or assisting the daily activities. Afacan Youth House is a place where GENCTUR hosts various voluntary and youth camps. The campsite is a secure place and participants will not be allowed to leave the camp site on their own.

W: Making a short film by using hand cameras and computers. A: At Afacan Youth House, in 2-3 bedded rooms with shower & toilet. Sleeping bag and mat are not necessary. F: Will be served in the center. LA: English. R: Smoking & alcohol is certainly not permitted at the camp. If you are a smoking or alcohol consuming teenager DO NOT apply. LO: Yenisakran is in the west of Turkey. The center is by the seaside. The nearest city is Izmir. Work camp site is safe and secure.

Meeting Point : GENCTUR office in İstanbul. Airport transfer may be organized by GENCTUR upon request but only from Istanbul Atatürk Airport (in the European side) on 15.07.18 Sunday, between 08.00 – 17.00 hours, at the cost of 20 €. The group will depart to the camp site on the same evening by an overnight coach together with the Turkish participants and the group leaders. The return coach ticket (to and from the camp site) is 60 € to be paid on arrival. The teen participants will also be accompanied on their return to Istanbul on 23.07.18 Monday by an intercity coach. The journey will take around 10 hours and the group will arrive in İstanbul in the evening. GENCTUR will arrange a hostel bed + breakfast for you for the night of 23rd at a cost of 20 € for 1 night. Please be aware that GENCTUR takes no responsibility after the check in process in the hostel. The return flight tickets must be arranged for the next day 24.07.2018 Tuesday from Istanbul Atatürk Airport. There will be a direct shuttle from the hostel to the airport at a cost of 10 Euros.

Alternatively, you can also fly to Izmir Airport on 15.07.2018 Sunday. In fact flying to İzmir might be cheaper and more convenient and less tiring. But in this case a taxi transfer from the airport at a cost of 50 Euros and 1 night extra accommodation including the dinner and breakfast at a cost of 25 Euros will be

compulsary. You will be met in the airport by a reliable taxi driver known by GENÇTUR who will bring you directly to the camp site. The ride lasts 1.5 hours. Then you will be hosted till the group arrives in the camp site on the 16th of July.

If you prefer to land in İzmir Airport you should inform us by the confirmation of your arrival.

Please also be aware that for your return to airport at the end of the camp, you should pay another transfer fee of 50 Euros.

Extra Fee: 225 Euros. To cover 7 nights full board accommodation at the camp site, excluding the personal expenses during the camp like soft drinks, ice cream, free day excursion, etc., return travel, hostel accommodation and transfer costs in Turkey. If you land in Istanbul and return from Istanbul, the total of your personal expenses apart from the camp fee (like airport meeting, return coach ticket, free day excursion and museum entries, ice cream or soft drinks) will be around 120 Euros. If you land in Izmir and return from Izmir, the total of your personal expenses apart from the camp fee (like return airport transfer by taxi, 1 extra night accommodation, free day excursion and museum entries, ice cream or soft drinks) will be around 160 Euros.
